Elections 2009: Polling percentage in Andhra Pradesh (AP)

First phase of 15th Lok Sabha elections are completed successfully with minor incidents. Polling percentage in AP is down to 62.4 percent. And it is very surprising that the polling percentage is less than 50 percent in twin cities.

  1. according to reliable internal sources , PRP has done better than what they have expected . It has termendously well in UttaraAndhra region expecting to bag about 80 % of seats over there and coming Telangana polling was conducted for 119 seats and all 3 parties are expected to bag equal share . TDP 40 , PRP 40 and congress 39 .

    Over all PRP is expected to bag about minimum of 70 seats in first phase which is way too much than what they have expected .
