Impressive …Go India..

Impressive …Go India..
Thinking only on positive lines, the last few months of governance of the Central Indian Government has been more than satisfactory…atleast to me !
The encouragement in thinking in these lines is the 100-day programme of the Central Goverment noted four months back. When it was announced, I was in two minds, laughed at it, and then thought to wait and see what will happen. 100 days is a small time to observe instead of waiting for 5 yrs! This simple important point has changed the complete impression. Impressive.
And some issues have improved. Ministries have tried to get an impression for themselves.
“If our politicians can work even for 100 days, India will be prosperous !!! “
First to emphasize are the reforms in the education sector. Doesn’t it instantly impress us ? Education, and especially, the secondary and higher secondary education are fields which ‘we’ are good at. This is our field. There are some sound implenmentations planned, reforming the CBSE board in-toto. 10th Standard common examnination has been scrapped, a grading system is going to replace the existing marking system, trying to have a unifying curriculam till the 8th standard (good right!)
The Right to Educaiton Bill has been passed, and now these dusted reforms revisited by Kapil Sibal. Hope no more hammering for students !!
Next one is the Media string trying to showcase the exclusive luxuries enjoyed by the Cabinet Ministers. Not like before, a note has been sent to all the senior ministers not to live luxuriously. And few of the ministers have started taking Economy class.
There is a DMU, a sort of feedback and performance analysis unit in the Prime Minister’s Office to look into the performance of various ministries. Already it has sent disappointment reports to the Health Ministry and Rural Development Ministry that their 100-day performance is not up to the mark !!! Times are changing. I just only hope they go on..and on…
There are some more points which I am impressed, but I won’t be putting them here, rather I should not be looking like pro-congress-govt too right!! 😛
Nevertheless, If this is the time we are waiting for, then its worth mentioning.
We shout at politicians even for the simplest of wrong doings. Yes its correct to point out. But let us be broad enough to appreciate even for the simplest of doings which we always cry for. All the above cases always are on top of our list of reforms which are pending for decades and expected.
After all, they are our politicians, our fellow citizens…
A small note of appreciation might start turning all things straight. I believe it.

A small note of appreciation might start turning all things straight. I believe it.
