Slovakia is a beautiful country to visit and you’ll love how it doubles up as a beautiful hiking destination.

Fira To Oia, Santorini

If you’ve never been to Santorini, then you need to visit this beautiful island as soon as possible. Built upon volcanic rock, this island has some amazing views and places to stay. Taking around 3-4 hours, you can hike from Fira to Oia and take in the beautiful scenery of the Aegean Sea. Mont-Rebei Gorge, Catalonia, Spain

If you fancy a more of an adventurous hike, then you need to visit Mont-Rebei Gorge in Catalonia. Those hikers who are willing to walk along the limestone cliff-side and squeeze along the narrow paths will be able to enjoy some of the most beautiful views in the world. Take a trip to Catalonia and go on this hike and you’ll get to watch as the turquoise river flows and looks amazing in the process.

Lake Bled, Slovenia

For something a little different, you might want to consider visiting Lake Bled in Slovenia and going for one of the amazing hikes. With this destination, you can choose from some easier hikes and some of the more challenging ones. For a bit of history, make sure to check out Bled Castle which has been there for one thousand years. This will be quite a climb, but it really will be worth it when you finally get to the top. The climbs really are quite amazing in Lake Bled so make sure to have a look at what’s on offer before setting off.

Stavanger, Norway

Norway is great for those who want to go on relatively short hikes as there is an abundance of beauty in this European country. One of the best short hikes that you can go on when you visit Norway is known as Pulpit Rock which has some amazing photo opportunities for you to enjoy. What makes this destination so amazing is the vertical cliff which you’ll need to get a ferry and a bus to get to. It’ll only take you around 2 – 4 hours to walk back so make sure to visit Stavanger if you want to get a glimpse of the Norwegian beauty.

Karlovy Vary to Loket, Czech Republic

Our final destination is another short hike which is great for those who still want to enjoy their relaxing holiday but get a little adventure. Over the span of 4 hours, you can travel from Karlovy Vary to Loket in the Czech Republic and you’ll be able to get some amazing views of the scenery. There are a lot of amazing sights on the way such as the medieval square which features some great live music.
