According to studies, student loan debt has risen by an average of 27.9% every year since the 21st century.

In order to get a college education, many students find themselves taking out loans that will take years to pay off.

The Coca-Cola Scholars Program

The Coca-Cola Scholars Program rewards young people who embody the spirit of achievement and community service. It also encourages smart goals and aspirations.

This highly-competitive scholarship program’s goal is to provide $20 million in college scholarships to more than 1,550 scholars nationwide.

Those who qualify are current high school seniors with a minimum 3.4 GPA and a minimum SAT score of 1300 (math and critical reading) or ACT score of 27.

The Coca-Cola Pay It Forward Scholarship Program

The Coca-Cola Pay It Forward Scholarships for high school students is a new and exciting component of the Coca-Cola Scholars Program. This program will recognize seventy seniors who are hand-selected.

Additionally, one hundred thirty-five students will be selected nationally.

Frito-Lay Bold Vision Scholarship Program

This Scholarship Program rewards students pursuing careers in advertising, marketing, public relations, etc. However, only six winners are selected.

The six winners will receive a combined total of $12,000 in scholarships. Each winner will also receive a paid summer internship with The Frito-Lay Company.

Applicants must be college students who are juniors, seniors, or graduates. They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and they must be studying one of the previously mentioned subjects.

General Mills United States Presidential Scholars in the Arts

This art program is a scholarship program that awards ten high school seniors with a one-time scholarship of $10,000. You must be a high school senior to apply.

You must also be accepted to an accredited 4-year college or university in the United States for undergraduate study.

The Jim Moran Foundation Scholarship Program

The Jim Moran Foundation Scholarship Program aims to help Florida students further their education. They do this by offering scholarships for both undergraduate and graduate degrees.

This scholarship is available to high school seniors who are currently enrolled in a college in Florida. They must continue their education during the next academic year.

M&M’s Peanut Butter Hearts Scholarship Program

The M&M’s Peanut Butter Hearts Scholarship Program awards $1,000 to high school seniors. These seniors need to display leadership and volunteerism and plan to pursue a degree in the food industry.

You must be a U.S. citizen who is currently enrolled as a sophomore or junior in a two-year community college or university in order to apply.
